 About the Chef 

 Chef Eric is a talented private chef with over 15 years of experience in the culinary arts. Raised in northern California, he fell in love with the many cultures and rich cuisines available there. His passion for food stems from watching cooking shows with his father as a child and working alongside his mother in restaurants from the age of 9. His father, a talented cook, exposed Chef Eric to his Libyan roots by sharing his native land’s cuisine with him and imparting a sense of communication and love through food. His mother, a career server, instilled a strong work ethic and the value of a servant's attitude toward dining. 

From there, his passion for food and spirit for learning set him off on a journey across the United states where he worked for many great chefs, absorbing knowledge along the way. He eventually landed in Wichita where he met Chef Robert Moore of the Candle Club who became his mentor and champion. Chef Eric then spent two years at Georges French Bistro as a Sous Chef and later catering manager. Currently, Chef Eric is the Sous Chef at Intrust Bank Arena and also operates as a Private Chef and Caterer, teaming up with Shannon Johnson of the Fusion Restaurant in Delano.
 
Chef Eric creates high quality, creative menus with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and attention to detail. He values professionalism in any kitchen, whether he's working the line, teaching a class, cooking for celebrities, or clients in their home. His goal is to bring his experience, passion for food, and his servant’s mentality to your home or special event.
