How’s that for “hospital food” classic creme brûlée and shrimp gumbo. I do enjoy finding ways to elevate offerings for patients. Hopefully this will be a regular menu item soon.

I needed a kitchen island……. So I built a ramen/sushi/turkish coffee bar. Haven’t painted it yet. Will post when it’s finished :)

Fun day of cooking for friends! Lamb with asparagus, roasted beet, and red wine cranberry demi. Various calamari sashimi, blue Turner mussels in a bread bowl with white wine butter sauce. And calamari ceviche in beet juice.

Been experimenting with fermenting lately, these fermented cherry tomatoes went sooo good with a rosemary cream sauce. It was a winner.
